This smoothie’s full of healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, vitamins, and protein. Omega-3s are essential, and have numerous overall health benefits, including boosting mental health and heart health. Flaxseeds are a great plant-based source of Omega-3s! Make sure you use flaxseed meal, not the whole seeds, so your body can fully absorb the nutrients.

The fresh strawberries and oranges give you plenty of vitamin C and antioxidants. A whole food, plant-based yogurt of your choice adds probiotics to complete this power-packed breakfast or afternoon snack. Try it out!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ¾ cup plant-based yogurt (like Lavva)
  • ½ cup orange, peeled
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseeds/flaxmeal
