Focused on the Finish Line
Meet Libby. She initially limped into TB12 with hopes of overcoming nagging knee issues.
“It had become a very low point in my life, I was very frustrated with the traditional post-op care I had gotten after arthroscopic knee surgery. I kept stressing that I had an active lifestyle, but I felt like no one cared or listened.
Believe me, I am no stranger to hardship. I am a widow and a cancer survivor. This issue, though, was really kicking me to the curb. It was taking away my identity and my social life. I felt I needed to find people who dealt with and really understood athletes and their injuries.
From the moment I called TB12, I knew it was exactly what I wanted and needed. I remember thinking when I filled out the Athlete Intake Form, ‘Oh my goodness, they consider me an athlete! Yay!’
Our sessions usually consist of pliability work, then exercises on the turf. They also set me up with a program to do at home that includes a personalized workout regiment with resistance bands, and daily at-home pliability work with the TB12 Vibrating Pliability Roller.
My favorite day was when I sent my Body Coach a picture of me on the top of Breckenridge Ski Area in Colorado. I held my TB12 hat and grinned. I had done it! With the proper mindset, anything is possible.”
