Meet Kolby.
After re-tearing her ACL in the summer of 2014, she was looking for a fresh approach to recovery, and decided to begin making the trip from her home in New Hampshire to the TB12 Center in Foxboro.
“From my first experience at TB12, I knew I’d get the best possible treatment and make a full recovery,” said Kolby. “I did exercises I’d never been taught before that maximized my performance and I came out of the experience as a stronger athlete than ever before.”
Kolby faced an uphill battle in order to make a physical recovery and overcome the psychological challenges that had come along with her second ACL injury. The personalized care and attention she got from TB12 and her Body Coach gave her the strength she needed to push past the challenges life had thrown her way.
“After my second knee injury, a lot of people thought I should give up on sports, but TB12 helped me overcome every hurdle I’ve faced. Body Coach James pushes me farther than I thought I could go, and helps me maintain mental toughness. He surprised me when he came to watch my first game after I was cleared to play again! That meant so much to me.”
“I never knew about the benefits of pliability before, or what exercises would help certain aspects of my game. TB12 has taught me the importance of body care for athletic success. My amazing experience at TB12 has even motivated me to study athletic training and physical therapy! I have truly reached a level of performance I never thought was attainable – thanks to TB12, I had a senior year that got me selected as a conference all-star and recruited to play college basketball.”
