Our Body Coaches are here to help you live life pain-free and perform your best while preventing future training injuries. As licensed Physical Therapists, our Body Coaches can also help you manage pain through techniques like deep tissue manipulation, muscle pliability, and more.
Our Services in NY
Clients in Equinox locations in New York will have the opportunity to work 1-on-1 with an expert TB12 Body Coach. With your Body Coach you’ll discuss your present activity level, diet, any current training program you’re following, and any injuries you may be experiencing. And again, you’ll also discuss your goals: What problems you want to solve and performance gains you want to achieve. From there, a session looks something like this:
Deep-force muscle pliability
Your Body Coach will perform hands-on deep-force muscle pliability work to help identify any additional issues and begin to improve the brain-body connection, counter muscle imbalances, and recover lost range of motion.
Holistic wellness advice
Your Body Coach will discuss the role of hydration in amplifying pliability and enabling overall health and wellness. You’ll identify an optimal level of hydration for your body weight and training needs and get advice on how to enhance your hydration. Your Body Coach will also help identify opportunities to integrate alternative nutrition choices and/or smart supplementation. You will have the opportunity to discuss strategies related to cognitive health, mindset, and neuroplasticity — all valuable components instrumental to health, wellness, and performance.

Meet the TB12 NY Team
Anthony Poli, PT, DPT, CSCS
Anthony Poli is originally from Bronxville, NY, and attended Quinnipiac University for both his undergraduate and graduate studies. Anthony graduated in 2014 with a major in Health Sciences and a minor in General Business, and then earned a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Quinnipiac in 2017. He is an avid distance runner and hopes to one day qualify for the Boston Marathon. He loves being part of the TB12 team and enjoys having a positive impact on people each day.

Mike Ruiz, MS, LAT, ATC
Mike is from Chelsea, Massachusetts and earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Springfield College as well as a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Athletic Training from Temple University. He enjoys staying active, watching Boston sports teams, and going on adventures with his dog Sayer.

Gabriela Fanti, MS, LAT, ATC
Gabby is from Queens, New York. She is a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer, earning her Master’s in Athletic Training from the University of South Florida. In her free time, she loves napping with her dogs, training in boxing and Muay Thai, and traveling the world, especially back home to Brasil to visit her friends and family.
