We’re putting a TB12 twist on a holiday favorite with our new Gingerbread Protein Bites! This protein-packed snack brings all the flavor of your favorite holiday gingerbread cookies – without the excessive sugar. They’re easy to throw together and make for a quick and convenient snack after a workout or when you need a pop of energy throughout the day! The only tool you need is a food processor and your hands! Here’s the recipe:
INGREDIENTS
- 1 scoop TB12 Vanilla Plant-Based Protein
- 1/3 cup coconut flour
- 2 Tbsp oat milk
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup almond butter
Combine in Food Processor
Bring all of the ingredients – except for your honey or maple syrup – together and combine using a food processor. Once blended, add the honey or maple syrup and continue to blend in your food processor for 15-30 seconds.
Form Your Protein Bites
Ball the batter together into small balls about 1/4 of an inch across. Place them on parchment paper and sprinkle additional coconut flour on top before placing them in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
Enjoy!
Once the bites have cooled in the fridge for a few hours, they’re ready to be eaten. Serve with a glass of plant-based milk and enjoy!
