Getting Back to the Old Me
She discovered TB12 last fall after buying a t-shirt and hat from us online, and decided to come in and try a group training class after reading about the opening of TB12 Boston. Heather loved her first TB12 experiences so much that she decided to try a 1-on-1 session with a Body Coach. “I was an athlete in high school and worked out on a regular basis for years. When I got married and had my two boys, my focus became my family – I gradually started putting on weight over the years and never worked out. I finally decided to make a change when my husband and I planned to renew our wedding vows for our 25th anniversary. At that point, I knew I needed to make major changes in my life so I could fit into a wedding dress.
I joined a local gym and started eating healthy. At first it was just about a dress. Over time, I realized it was so much more. I was taking control of my life so I could be healthy and happy. I didn’t know what to expect from my first 1-on-1 session with my Body Coach, Kyle. I told him that I really didn’t have any injuries, just chronic back and hip pain that I thought would never go away. Prior to TB12, I would get out of bed hunched over and stiff – I just learned to live with the pain."
"TB12 has helped me increase my physical performance and has given me the confidence and the desire to work harder. Working with Body Coach Kyle has changed my life – tackling my back pain has been a game changer and has allowed me to continue to push myself harder. I love taking on the challenging group training classes and keeping myself healthy with pliabilty work at home using my Vibrating Pliability Roller. Thanks to TB12, I’ve become an older version of the young, active me that I thought I lost a long time ago."
“Prior to the pandemic, our sessions consisted of body work – which I miss terribly, core strengthening exercises, and great conversations. Now, we’re doing virtual total body workouts! Kyle really challenges me in our virtual sessions and we still get those great conversations in, I feel like I haven’t missed a beat!”
