Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory favorite of ours here at TB12, and we like it so much that we decided to build a smoothie around it! This rich and flavorful smoothie packs an anti-inflammatory punch – in addition to giving you a serving of our delicious plant protein.

Turmeric is one of the most well-known and researched anti-inflammatory foods available – it’s been shown to prevent inflammation by blocking the activation of genes that cause an inflammatory response in the body. It’s a great addition to a flavorful smoothie like this one, or simply to your morning tea!


  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp fresh turmeric, grated (or 1 tsp ground turmeric)
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated (or 1/3 tsp ground ginger)
  • 1 scoop Vanilla TB12 Plant-Based Protein

Combine all ingredients in the blender, blend until smooth, and enjoy!
